What It Does
The Ruler Tool helps measure movement between two points on a chart. It can quickly show information such as price movement, percentage change, number of bars, and the distance traveled during a market move.
How to Use It
Select the ruler or measurement tool and drag from the starting point of a price move to the ending point. Use the measurement to compare moves, evaluate pullbacks, study volatility, or understand how far price traveled during a particular period.
